SCHOOL CLOSING AT 12NOON on THURSDAY 8th DEC - 08 December 2011
SBC have taken the decision to CLOSE ALL SCHOOLS as of lunchtime Thursday 8th December due to the Severe Weather Warning received. Howdenburn will close at 12noon, please make necessary arrangements for your children. Unfortunately this means we have to postpone our Christmas Concert. Please listen to Radio Borders for updates. School Transport will leave school at 12noon approximately.

More money raised for Children in Need! - 29 November 2011
Our Nursery raised a total of £198.67 for Children in Need! They collected spare change and Mrs Fisher baked over 300 Pudsey Buns which were bought by pupils, parents and staff.

Please have a look at the Have Sum fun link. It contains lots of games parents/carers can play with their children to help them develop an interest and love of numbers. The suggested games, for 3-8year olds, focus on learning through play and are based on real life contexts. They have been designed with fun in mind, while supporting children in practising their number skills.
